GPU Cloud and Dedicated Servers for NSFW AI and ComfyUI
ComfyUI and other self-hosted AI stacks let you run your own checkpoints, LoRAs and image/video workflows without depending on a consumer generator. The difficult part is often not the software but the GPU: modern workflows can need far more VRAM and compute than a normal laptop or desktop can provide.
For adult AI there is another filter that generic cloud-GPU comparisons usually miss: a provider can technically run ComfyUI while still prohibiting pornography or sexually explicit content in its Terms. This guide therefore compares infrastructure and policy together. The confirmed shortlist only includes services where we found a positive official basis for legal adult workloads.
This page covers lawful content involving adults and fully synthetic generation. A hosting provider's adult-content policy does not override consent, likeness rights, model licences, local law, age-assurance duties or rules against non-consensual intimate imagery.
Quick picks by GPU workflow
There is no useful single winner here. An always-on bare-metal server, a distributed container cloud and a managed ComfyUI workspace solve different problems. The options below are policy-qualified use-case matches based on current provider documentation, not a hands-on performance ranking.
Salad's own workload documentation explicitly describes mature/adult image, text and video jobs. Its ComfyUI recipes are designed around containers, queues, APIs and external storage rather than a permanent browser workstation.
Unihost publishes GPU dedicated servers and explicitly allows legal adult content subject to its restrictions. It is a straightforward infrastructure model when you want root access, persistent local disks and your own long-lived model library.
RedSwitches has a dedicated Adult Content Policy in its AUP. Legal adult content is not categorically banned, but the physical server jurisdiction matters, so the data-center location must be part of the buying decision.
OBHost allows legal adult content on eligible VPS, dedicated and colocation services and has a separate AI/GPU workload policy. Its dedicated GPU product provides full root access and persistent NVMe storage.
Niche confirmed option: UnderHost Moldova explicitly supports legal adult hosting on its Moldova dedicated product and can provide a GPU through a custom server configuration, but it is not a standardized GPU cloud or catalog product.

Why adult-content policy matters more than a GPU list
Most cloud-GPU guides compare hourly price, CUDA performance and VRAM. Those are important, but for an NSFW workflow they come after a more basic question: does the provider actually allow the intended content?
A service can offer RTX 4090 or H100 instances, publish a ComfyUI template and let you import community models while still restricting sexually explicit outputs. Conversely, a general hosting company may have a clearer adult policy than a specialist AI cloud.
We use three policy labels on this page:
- Confirmed. An official current policy, FAQ or product page provides a positive basis for legal adult workloads on the relevant service or location.
- Needs confirmation. The product is technically relevant, but the reviewed public rules do not give a sufficiently explicit positive answer for commercial explicit adult generation.
- Prohibited. Current official rules directly prohibit pornography, sexually explicit content or adult/NSFW hosting for the relevant service.
We deliberately do not treat silence as permission. If a provider is important to your stack but sits in the middle category, get written confirmation for the exact product and location before moving a production workload.
Four ways to rent GPU compute for ComfyUI
Choosing the infrastructure model first is usually more useful than starting with provider names.

Confirmed GPU cloud and servers for NSFW AI
The table is a shortlist, not a universal ranking. Hardware inventories and prices move quickly, so the more durable comparison is policy basis, infrastructure model, billing style, storage and the type of workload each service suits.

Confirmed providers in detail
The right choice depends on whether you need an interactive workstation, an always-on production server or a horizontally scalable backend.
SaladCloud — for batch jobs, APIs and scalable ComfyUI
SaladCloud is the most unusual option in the shortlist because it is not a conventional GPU VM. Its distributed compute network runs container workloads across participating machines. Salad's Adult Workload Preferences explicitly says that some customer jobs generate mature/adult images, text or video and describes host opt-in controls.
That is unusually strong policy evidence for this niche. Salad also publishes an official ComfyUI API recipe and a broader deployment guide for image and video workflows. The architecture is designed around API requests, replicas, webhooks and external storage such as S3-compatible systems rather than one permanent desktop-like session.
Typical fit: a generation queue, large batches, a backend for your own application, or production where capacity should scale with demand.
Watch for: nodes are distributed and can be interruptible. Design the workflow so jobs can retry safely and models/results live in durable storage rather than depending on one container's local disk.
Unihost — for a persistent self-hosted GPU server
Unihost is closer to the familiar dedicated-server model: rent the whole machine, install your stack and keep models on local storage. Its GPU catalog currently includes consumer and professional NVIDIA cards, including RTX 3090, RTX 4090 and RTX 5090 configurations, although stock and prices vary by location.
The key reason it qualifies is policy. Unihost's dedicated/GPU pages explicitly answer that legal adult content can be stored and distributed subject to listed exclusions and rights requirements. The provider also publishes a Germany-specific caveat, which is a reminder that a brand-level "adult friendly" label is not enough — location still matters.
Typical fit: an always-on ComfyUI/Forge/SwarmUI environment, a large checkpoint and LoRA library, SSH automation and regular image/video production.
Watch for: monthly dedicated hardware can be poor value if you only generate for a few hours each week. Compare utilization, not just headline GPU performance.
RedSwitches — bare metal with an explicit jurisdiction-based adult policy
RedSwitches has one of the clearest policies in this market. Section 5 of its Acceptable Use Policy states that legal adult content is not categorically prohibited, but it is permitted only where the server's physical jurisdiction allows it.
This makes the data-center location part of the technical architecture. The same provider can be suitable in one jurisdiction and unsuitable in another. RedSwitches' GPU bare-metal catalog includes multiple NVIDIA classes and gives full root access, so a normal Docker/ComfyUI stack is technically straightforward once the policy/location question is settled.
Typical fit: teams that want physical isolation, persistent storage, heavy or long-running workloads and a provider that explicitly documents how adult content is handled.
Watch for: do not select a server solely by GPU and price. Confirm the exact physical location and the applicable local rules before deployment.
OBHost — dedicated GPU with a separate adult and AI policy
OBHost's Acceptable Use Policy separates adult content and AI/LLM workloads. Legal adult content is allowed on VPS, dedicated servers or colocation subject to applicable law, while shared, reseller and managed WordPress products are excluded. Pakistan-hosted services are also specifically excluded for adult content.
The same AUP applies its general content restrictions to AI output and directly addresses AI-generated CSAM and non-consensual deepfakes. The GPU dedicated product provides bare-metal NVIDIA hardware, root access and NVMe storage, with published RTX and A-series configurations.
Typical fit: a conventional dedicated environment where you control drivers, Docker, ComfyUI, model files and storage.
Watch for: check the exact location. "OBHost allows adult content" is too broad a statement because its AUP has service- and country-specific exceptions.
UnderHost Moldova — a specific adult-friendly custom GPU route
UnderHost should be treated narrowly. Its Moldova Dedicated Servers page explicitly positions that product for legal adult content and says custom server builds can include a specific GPU.
This is therefore a valid policy-confirmed path, but not a standardized on-demand GPU cloud. Hardware often requires a quote and the GPU choice is less predictable than a marketplace or a large dedicated-GPU catalog.
Typical fit: users who specifically want a persistent dedicated server in Moldova and are comfortable ordering a custom configuration.
Watch for: do not generalize the Moldova policy to every UnderHost service or location.
Popular GPU options that still need explicit confirmation
These services are relevant enough that users will expect to see them, but they do not meet our standard for the confirmed shortlist.
Comfy Cloud — technically compelling, but not a positive adult-policy confirmation
Comfy Cloud is the official hosted version of ComfyUI. Its documentation describes a managed cloud environment with powerful GPU infrastructure, and eligible plans can import models directly from Civitai and Hugging Face .
The current Comfy Terms of Service , effective May 13, 2026, do not state a blanket ban on consensual adult content in the prohibited-data section we reviewed. They do prohibit illegal content, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, rights violations and synthetic media designed to impersonate a real person without consent.
That is different from Runpod's direct pornography prohibition, but it is still not a positive statement that commercial explicit adult production is accepted. Civitai import support is also a technical feature, not a content-policy approval.
There is a second difference from self-hosted ComfyUI: hosted customer data has Comfy's cloud retention lifecycle. The company's data-retention documentation should be reviewed if prompts, reference images or outputs are sensitive.
Verdict: promising for the normal ComfyUI cloud use case, but obtain current written approval before depending on it for explicit adult production.
Vast.ai — excellent marketplace economics do not answer the policy question
Vast.ai is widely used for inexpensive GPU rental and can be attractive for ComfyUI because supply includes many consumer GPUs. But the public Terms of Use we reviewed carry an old version date and do not give a sufficiently explicit positive rule for consensual explicit adult generation.
It is also a marketplace: the physical machine can be operated by an independent host. That makes provider/platform rules, host reliability and storage hygiene separate questions.
Verdict: technically relevant, policy unclear. Get current written confirmation for the intended workload rather than assuming that a marketplace listing is permission.
Popular GPU and ComfyUI providers that prohibit this use case
These services are technically capable of AI generation but their current public rules conflict with explicit adult production.

Runpod is the most important false positive
Runpod frequently appears in generic ComfyUI tutorials, so it is easy to assume that self-hosting an open-source workflow makes the content policy irrelevant. It does not. The current Runpod Terms of Service explicitly list pornography or graphic adult content among unauthorized content.
Database Mart also restricts GPU image-generation hosting
Database Mart's current Terms prohibit hosting, publishing or distributing pornographic or sexually explicit content. Its GPU server guide separately lists pornographic content under GPU hosting restrictions.
HOSTKEY gives a direct no
HOSTKEY's current server-management FAQ answers the question directly: adult content (NSFW) cannot be hosted on its servers.
RunDiffusion's managed open-source apps still follow platform rules
RunDiffusion provides ComfyUI and other open-source apps, but its NSFW Policy says pornographic, fetish and sexually suggestive/explicit content is not allowed. Running an open-source app inside a managed service does not remove the managed service's policy layer.
How much VRAM do you need for ComfyUI image and video workflows?
There is no universal VRAM number because model precision, quantization, offloading, resolution, batch size and the nodes loaded at the same time can change memory use dramatically. Treat the ranges below as planning heuristics, not hard requirements.

For many creators the important comparison is not "H100 vs everything else" but whether the workflow fits comfortably in a cost-effective consumer/workstation GPU. RTX 3090/4090-class 24 GB cards remain useful because they combine substantial VRAM with strong diffusion performance; RTX 5090 adds 32 GB headroom. For much heavier video, renting a 48–80 GB card only when needed can be more economical than owning it.

Storage can matter almost as much as the GPU
A serious model library can grow into hundreds of gigabytes once checkpoints, video models, LoRAs, VAEs, ControlNet-style assets and outputs accumulate. Cheap compute is less attractive if every new session spends a long time downloading the same files again.

Before paying, check what happens when you Stop, Delete or Destroy an instance. "Persistent" often means the disk survives a stopped VM, not that it survives every deletion action.
Three practical ComfyUI deployment patterns
- Interactive workstation. Keep ComfyUI running on one persistent server and use it through the browser. This is simple for manual production and model experimentation.
- Disposable GPU worker. Start a GPU only when needed, attach or restore persistent storage, generate, then stop compute. This can cut idle cost but adds startup and storage management.
- Container/API backend. Treat ComfyUI as an inference engine behind a job queue. Workers become replaceable, models are pulled from durable storage and outputs are delivered through object storage/webhooks.

Model availability is a separate licensing question. Being able to download a checkpoint from Hugging Face or Civitai does not automatically grant commercial hosted-inference rights.
What is cheaper: cloud GPU, dedicated server or your own card?
A simple hourly-rate comparison is often misleading. The real cost of self-hosted generation includes compute, storage, traffic, idle time, failed/repeated generations and administration.
Practical cost = GPU time + persistent storage + data transfer + idle capacity + retries + operational time.

Do not assume that the cheapest GPU-hour produces the cheapest accepted image or video. Startup delay, failed jobs, interruptible capacity and repeated video generations can dominate the final cost.
Privacy: "self-hosted" does not always mean "local"
Running your own ComfyUI stack gives you more control than a typical consumer web generator, but rented infrastructure still has a provider and a data lifecycle.
- Dedicated bare metal: one of the clearest isolation models, but the provider still controls the data center, network and hardware support.
- GPU VM: check snapshots, hypervisor isolation, backups and what survives instance deletion.
- Marketplace: the physical host may be an independent provider, which adds another trust layer.
- Distributed containers: workers can be disposable, while durable models and outputs live in a separate storage service that must be secured correctly.
- Managed ComfyUI: operational simplicity is high, but prompts, inputs and outputs enter the managed provider's retention and compliance system.
For sensitive reference images, use private storage, minimal credentials and a provider whose retention/deletion model you understand. Never treat infrastructure policy as consent to use a real person's likeness.

We started with the normal international GPU/ComfyUI market, then verified the adult use case against official Terms, AUPs, FAQs and product documentation. The policy review was checked on September 5, 2026.
Research scope: we did not rent or benchmark every provider in this guide. Provider inclusion and use-case notes are based on current policy and product documentation, not hands-on performance, uptime or support testing.
- Adult-content policy: positive public evidence is required for the confirmed shortlist.
- Product scope: permission must apply to the relevant GPU/dedicated/container product, not merely another service from the same company.
- Jurisdiction: location-specific rules are kept explicit.
- Infrastructure type: dedicated, VM/marketplace, managed workspace or container cloud.
- Billing model: usage-based compute, fixed server rental or custom configuration.
- GPU/VRAM: whether current hardware classes fit modern image and video workflows.

Can I use Runpod for NSFW ComfyUI?
Not for the explicit pornography/graphic adult use case covered here. Runpod's current Terms, updated March 24, 2026, list pornography or graphic adult content among unauthorized content.
Does Vast.ai allow NSFW?
We do not classify Vast.ai as confirmed. Its public Terms do not give a sufficiently explicit current positive rule for consensual explicit adult generation. For a commercial workflow, obtain written confirmation for the intended use and remember that Vast.ai is a marketplace of independent hosts.
Does Comfy Cloud allow adult content?
The current Comfy Cloud Terms we reviewed do not contain the same blanket pornography prohibition as Runpod, but they also do not provide the positive explicit-adult confirmation required for our shortlist. They prohibit illegal content, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, rights violations and non-consensual impersonation. Get written confirmation before depending on Comfy Cloud for explicit commercial production.
What GPU should I rent for ComfyUI?
For serious image workflows, 24–32 GB VRAM is a useful practical class because it reduces how often larger graphs need aggressive offloading. Lighter optimized workflows can run on less; heavy video or large concurrent graphs can justify 48–80 GB or more. Always size the GPU to your actual model and workflow rather than a generic benchmark.
Do I need an H100 for NSFW AI?
No. H100-class hardware can be valuable for large models, very high VRAM requirements or throughput-sensitive datacenter workloads, but many image-generation workflows are more economical on consumer/workstation GPUs if they fit comfortably in VRAM.
Will my models remain after I stop the GPU?
It depends on the storage model. Dedicated servers normally keep their local disks while the service remains active. A cloud VM may use a separately billed persistent volume. A container cloud can treat local storage as temporary and expect models/results to live in object storage.
Can I import models from Civitai or Hugging Face?
Usually on a self-managed server, yes, and Comfy Cloud also supports direct imports on eligible plans. But technical download support does not determine the model licence or the provider's content policy. Check both separately.
What is the easiest option for a beginner?
A managed ComfyUI service is technically easiest, but for explicit adult production the policy still needs to be confirmed. A dedicated server requires more Linux/Docker setup but gives a more predictable persistent environment.
