How we discover products and programs

Research starts with the underlying product market, not just affiliate-program directories. For product-first categories, we first identify the services that are genuinely relevant to the audience and search intent, then check whether they offer a workable partner program.

Discovery can include established brands, specialist products, direct affiliate programs, CPA networks, Smartlink platforms and regional alternatives. A program is not included simply to increase the number of entries.

Sources we prioritize

Primary sources normally include official program websites, affiliate agreements, help centers, product documentation, registration pages, payout documentation and public materials from the company or network.

Independent reviews, webmaster discussions and third-party databases can add context, but they do not replace official evidence for fast-changing details such as commission rates, payout methods, accepted traffic or eligibility.

If a material condition cannot be verified, we prefer to say that it is unclear or requires confirmation instead of presenting it as established fact.

What we compare

The criteria change with the category, but common factors include:

• the strength and relevance of the underlying product;
• commission model and rate structure;
• cookie or attribution rules when published;
• payout threshold, schedule and payment methods;
• supported GEOs and partner eligibility;
• allowed and prohibited traffic sources;

Not every criterion applies to every product. A direct RevShare program, a CPA network and a white-label platform should not be ranked by one headline number alone.

How ordering is decided

There is no universal ranking formula across the site. The order depends on the intent of the page and can reflect product quality, relevance, transparency, practical usability, partner terms, market reach and operational restrictions.

For product-first categories, the product itself matters before the affiliate payout. A weak or irrelevant service does not become a strong recommendation simply because it advertises a high commission.

Where products solve different jobs, we may use separate groups rather than pretending that one linear ranking is meaningful.

Markets, traffic and partner eligibility

Geographic availability is not one single condition. We distinguish, where possible, between partner registration, acceptance of traffic from a market and the availability of practical payout methods.

A program can accept traffic from a country while restricting partner accounts or payouts there. If public information is incomplete, we flag the uncertainty and recommend confirming current terms with the program.

How pages are updated

We revisit pages when major terms change, a program closes, important restrictions appear, a strong new product enters the market, or the existing comparison no longer reflects the category well.

An update date should represent a meaningful editorial change rather than a cosmetic rewrite or typo fix.

Even a recently checked page cannot guarantee that a third party will keep the same terms afterward, so readers should verify critical conditions before sending traffic or spending money.
